My Background
I am a qualified employment solicitor and before becoming a therapist, I spent almost a decade working in the City of London in both private practice law firms and corporations. During those years, I often found myself drawn to the human side of the work — listening to people’s struggles, supporting them through work related stress, relationship breakdowns, sleepless nights, addictions, depression, and anxiety.

Training
It became clear to me that what I loved most was helping people feel heard and supported during some of the hardest moments in their lives. This led me to retrain as a counsellor in 2020 and to continue my training to become a psychotherapist in 2023.
As part of my training, I worked within the NHS service in Wandsworth, supporting individuals facing a wide range of difficulties — including anxiety, depression, grief, emotional abuse, low self-esteem, eating disorders, and physical health challenges. Each person’s story deepened my appreciation for human resilience and the capacity to heal, even in the midst of great pain.

Since September 2023, I have been continuing my training in existential psychotherapy at the New School of Psychotherapy and Counselling (NSPC) as I work towards becoming a UKCP-registered psychotherapist.
I now see clients both privately and through the low-cost therapy service at The Awareness Centre — something I feel deeply passionate about.
